3 pounds tomatoes (approximately 7 medium tomatoes), diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons basil pesto (see post for link to recipe)
8 tablespoons pumpkin puree
Generous pinch of sugar
