STICKY TERIYAKI + MAPLE CAULIFLOWER
This Sticky Teriyaki + Maple Cauliflower is a nice play on “sesame chicken”, but instead uses teriyaki sauce (which includes sesame seeds) and adds a great hint of sweetness because of the maple syrup, which ultimately creates a stickiness that will leave you cleaning your plate. Baking the cauliflower gives this dish a beautiful crunch, which marries well with the thick sauce. To top things off, it’s a sure tastebud satisfier, even for those who enjoy a vegan diet.
1 head of cauliflower
1 cup teriyaki sauce
1/4 cup organic maple syrup
1 small clove garlic (minced)
1/2 tsp powdered ginger
1 1/2 Tbsps flour
sesame seeds (for garnish)
