Tofu tikka masala

Tikka masala is usually a tomato based sauce blended with heavy cream and spices. I went healthier. I use the same tomato based with fragrant Indian spices, but did not blend it nor did I add in cream, and I added tofu instead of meat. Deeelicious!
Ingredients
454g regular firm tofu
2 tsp turmeric
2 tbsp garam masala
1 tsp chili powder
1 big onion
1tbsp ginger
2 x 19oz canned diced tomatoes
3 garlic cloves
1 cup frozen peas
1/2 cup coconut milk
1/2 tbsp fresh mint
1 tsp fresh thyme
salt
