Multigrian Bread
Homemade multigrain bread is packed with whole wheat flour, whole grains and seeds. An easy and quick recipe for the novice or experienced baker! This is a family favorite. (Vegan)
For the Soaker:
1/4 C 10 Grain Cereal (40g)
2 Tbs Thick Rolled Oats (18g)
2 Tbs Quinoa (24g)
2 Tbs Flax Seed (26g)
2 Tbs Sunflower Seeds (22g)
1/3 C Water (79g)
For the Dough:
1/2 C Almond Milk + 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar (142g)
1 1/2 C Unbleached Bread Flour (264g)
1 1/2 C Whole Wheat Flour or Whole Wheat Bread Flour – if you can find it (258g)
3 Tbs Brown Sugar (46g)
1 1/2 tsp Sea Salt (10g)
1 Tbs Instant or Quick Rise Yeast (6g)
3 Tbs Cooked Brown Rice (44g)
1 1/2 Tbs Maple Syrup
3/4 C Water, room temperature (178g)
For Finishing:
Coconut oil for coating bowl and pan.
1 Tbs Rolled Oats (9g)
Bread flour for dusting
