“Feuerflecken” are the typical Austrian flatbread – a rustic snack made from rye sourdough and filled with a fresh herbs and garlic sourcream.
Ingredients
50g whole grain rye flour
150g rye flour + extra for dusting
100g spelt or wheat flour
200ml water
30g sourdough starter or 2 tsp dried sourdough extract
250g sour cream
3 garlic cloves
3 Tbsp herbs (e.g. chive, parsley, thyme, basil)
salt
pepper
