Chicken or tofu? With this delicious spicy cornmeal coating, it’s really hard to tell!
Ingredients
20 ounces super firm tofu
2 tablespoons ground chia seed
1 cup plain unsweetened almond milk (or water) + 1/4 cup hot sauce
2 cups panko breadcrumbs (I used whole wheat/ can also sub gluten-free)
1/2 cup flour (I used brown rice flour)
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 cup hot sauce
