These vegan baked lemon doughnuts with lemon glaze are a sweet, tangy treat your family and friends will love. They can also be made gluten-free!
Ingredients
1 tbsp ground flax seeds
3 tbsp water
1 cup gluten free flour OR all-purpose flour (see recipe notes)
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/4 tsp lemon zest
1/2 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk
2 tbsp melted coconut oil
3/4 tsp lemon extract
For the Lemon Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp lemon zest (optional)
