Soft, baked pumpkin donuts frosted with a maple glaze and dipped in crushed pecans.
Ingredients
1 ½ cups white whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
½ teaspoon salt
¼ cup honey or agave nectar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup Greek yogurt
3/4 cup pumpkin puree
1/3 cup milk
¼ cup coconut oil, melted
½ cup maple syrup
1 cup powdered sugar
¼ cup coconut oil
1 cup toasted and finely crushed nut of any choice (I used pecans and walnuts)
