Breakfast fried rice with tofu makes for a savory and filling vegan breakfast.
Ingredients
2 cups brown rice (cooked according to package directions) or 4 cups leftover rice
1 block of firm tofu
1 tbsp toasted sesame oil, divided
5 green onions, thinly sliced
3-4 tbsp soy sauce or Braggs Liquid Aminos
1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
pinch of cayenne pepper
1 – 3 tsp liquid smoke (to taste)
3 tbsp nutritional yeast
1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (use black ones for a nice pop of color)
