Caramel Apple Overnight Oats

A wholesome breakfast or mid-day snack! Sliced apples and homemade vegan caramel sauce layered in between creamy oats.
Ingredients
Oats Layer:
1 cup old fashioned oats
1 ½ tablespoon chia seeds
2 cups nondairy milk (I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
1 tablespoon honey
Caramel Apple Layer:
6 large dates, pitted
¼ cup almond butter (or any nut butter)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon salt
¼ cup almond milk
2 apples
