Classic Acai Bowl
A classic acai bowl made by layering flaxseed granola, a thick and dreamy strawberry banana acai smoothie, fresh blueberries, almonds, coconut and a drizzle of honey inspired by the best of San Diego, California.
Acai Bowl:
2 C frozen strawberries
2 packets of pureed acai, unsweetened
1 fresh banana
¼ C almond milk
Toppings:
⅔ C + ¼ granola, divided (we like Nature’s Path Hemp Plus Granola)
2 T coarsely chopped almonds
Fresh, sliced, seasonal fruit: ½ a sliced banana, a handful of blueberries, or sliced peaches, get creative!
¼ C shredded coconut (coarsely shredded is preferred)
A drizzle of your favorite honey (local and raw is ideal)
