Ingredients
1 3/8 cups of whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
4 teaspoons of ground ginger
1 1/4 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of coconut oil (solid is best)
1/2 cup of packed brown sugar
1/2 cup of unsweetened apple sauce
2/3 cup of molasses
2/3 cup of almond milk + 1/2 teaspoon of white vinegar
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
2 cans of full-fat coconut milk, chilled overnight
1/2 cup of pure maple syrup
