Green Smoothies are packed full of healthy goodness and a perfect way to start the day. This is our ‘go-to’ Green Smoothie – we’ve been chipping away at the recipe for months now so it’s pretty good!
Ingredients
2-3 handfuls of fresh or frozen spinach or other green
1 banana
1 kiwifruit
a small piece of fresh ginger, roughly chopped
a small piece of fresh turmeric, roughly chopped (or 1 tsp ground)
¼-1/2 ripe avocado (depending on size)
250-300 ml water, coconut water or dairy-free milk
Small handful of nuts (in place of avocado if watching fat intake)
pinch of salt
