A delicious and comforting bowl of oatmeal made in the rice cooker instead of on the stove. You don’t have to stand around and babysit these oats! Throw everything in the rice cooker and come back 25 minutes later to a satisfying breakfast or snack.

1/2 cup old fashioned oats (not quick cooking or instant)
1 medium very ripe banana
2 Tablespoons maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups water
