Snackin’ Scones with Healthy Jam

Fluffy scones made with plant-based ingredients and chia seed jam for a schooltime treat with a nutrient punch. Yummy for grownups, too!
Ingredients
1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
1 cup spelt or whole wheat flour
3 tablespoons organic cane sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup vegan butter or margarine
1 apple, grated
1/2 cup non-dairy milk
1/4 cup strawberry chia seed jam (recipe included) or store bought jam
optional non-dairy milk for brushing
optional cinnamon+sugar mixture for dusting
