Spicy Vegan Falafel Wrap
This Spicy Vegan Falafel Wrap is an Indian version of very famous Middle Eastern street food, the falafel wrap. To give the INDIAN touch, I have added some more spices to make it more aromatic and spicy. Here I have included easy an step by step method to make vegan falafel and veggie wraps using it.
To make the falafel:
1 cup chickpeas, soaked overnight
½ cup cilantro or coriander
4 tbsp finely chopped onion
4-5 cloves of garlic
4-5 tbsp flour
1 tsp cumin seeds
½ tsp pepper corn
4 cloves
Small piece of cinnamon
Salt to taste
½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp red chili powder
To make the falafel wrap:
8 small tortilla or Indian flat bread- roti, chappati or plain paratha
1 cup green chutney
1 tomato, sliced
1 onion, julienne
1 /2 green bell pepper, julienned
Pinch of salt
