Split mung bean dal cooked in aromatic Indian spices, onions and tomatoes; perfect with a bowl of hot steaming rice or any Indian flat bread.
Ingredients
½ cup split mung bean dal with skin
1 small onions, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic
2 to 3 cloves
½ teaspoon cumin seeds
2 green chillies
¼ teaspoon turmeric
1 medium tomato, chopped
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
Salt to taste
2 tablespoon oil/ghee
Coriander leaves for garnishing
