Super Bowl Oatmeal
It’s the Super Bowl weekend! To celebrate, this recipe involves a baked oatmeal “football” and an overnight oatmeal “football field”.
For the football field overnight oatmeal:
Three-quarters of an overripe banana
¾ oz (20g) frozen chopped spinach
1/3 cup almond milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup rolled oats
2 teaspoons chia seeds
For the football baked oatmeal:
8 walnut halves
Tiny pinch of salt
Quarter of an overripe banana
1 teaspoon almond milk
Pinch of baking powder
1 teaspoon cocoa powder
½ teaspoon maple syrup
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
3 – 4 raisins or 1 pitted date (optional)
3 tablespoons rolled oats
Icing/frosting, to decorate
