Vegan banana bread waffles – a healthy and delicious way to start off your day!
Ingredients
1 1/2 cup white whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons coconut sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup melted coconut oil
1/2 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
1 cup overripe mashed bananas (about 2 bananas)
1 large egg or 1 flax egg
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Vanilla ice cream, melted chocolate (optional, highly recommended)
Other toppings (banana, berries, granola, nuts etc.) (optional)
