Vegetarian Onigiri

This Japanese sandwich alternative is one of my go-to picnic and road trip snacks. I provide two filling choices but, really, the possibilities are endless!
Ingredients
Sushi rice, cooked and cool to touch (Follow directions on package. Add 1 tsp of salt while cooking.)
A bowl of salted warm water (for your hands because they will get sticky)
Nori, cut into strips lengthwise
Sesame seeds (Optional. Mix into your cooked rice as desire.)
1 sweet potato, cooked
Pinch of garam masala (nutmeg and cinnamon works too)
1 tsp sugar
Splash of milk
3 hard boiled eggs, peeled
Mayonnaise
Salt and pepper
