Strawberry Basil Smoothie

I don’t know who was the first to pair basil with strawberries but he was a genius just like the one who first thought of pairing salt and caramel. Yum. Anyway, this smoothie is simple and perfect, and healthy too!
Ingredients
1 cup of frozen strawberries
6 basil leaves
1 cup of baby spinach
1 – 1/4 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk (1 cup for a thicker smoothie)
1 tsp Flax Seed Meal
1/2 cup greek yogurt (I use honey or vanilla)
