Akki roti
Akki rotti is a popular dish of Karnataka, and there are different varieties of akki rottis. Vegetable masala akki rotti is a healthy and delicious akki rotti prepared with grated cabbage, carrot, and onion. So addictive, delicious and healthy – hot, hot akki rotti straight from the pan with ghee or butter and chutney are just heavenly.
Rice flour – 2 cup
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Cumin – 1 tsp
Chana dal – 1 tbs
Urad dal – 1 tsp
Curry leaves
Dry chilies – 3 broken into small pieces
Onion – 2 medium chopped finely
Cabbage – 1 cup grated or finely chopped
Carrot – 1/2 cup grated
Dill leaves, chopped – 1 bunch (optional)
Coconut – 1/4 cup grated
Coriander – 1 bunch chopped
Salt
Oil
Hot water to make the dough
