Ancient Grains Pear Porridge is a gluten free morning porridge with quinoa, amaranth, pear, and warming spices.
Ingredients
2 cups water
1 cup brazil nut milk (1 cup brazil nuts + 4 cups water = see “guide to nut milks” post for recipe details)
½ cup amaranth
½ cup quinoa
1 cup pear (2 small pears/1 large pear), diced
1 tablespoon maple syrup (stevia to taste for sugar free version)
2 teaspoons ground ginger
¼ teaspoon of ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
