Naturally sweetened Banana Matcha Waffles are a delicious breakfast option. Flavorful, healthy and freezer friendly – whip up a big batch and enjoy all week long.
Ingredients
2 cups white whole wheat flour
1 tbsp organic matcha powder (I use DōMatcha)
2 tsp baking powder
1½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp 100% pure maple syrup, plus more for serving
2 large eggs, beaten lightly
1¾ cup milk of choice (I used coconut)
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted. Plus extra for the waffle iron
2 very ripe bananas, mashed
