Chai Banana Bread has all the flavor and texture of traditional banana bread, plus delectable chai spices that give it a little extra complexity.
Ingredients
For the Bread:
1 stick unsalted butter
1 cup light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp ground cardamom
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp ground cloves
3/4 tsp salt
1 cup ripe mashed bananas (2-3 bananas)
1/2 cup plain yogurt
For the Glaze (optional):
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp strong brewed chai tea
