Super easy to make own chai spice! Ginger can be dried at window side in the kitchen, by roughly chopping and spreading on kitchen paper, use organic ginger with skin. Rice milk is naturally mild and sweet, so it is a perfect chai latte without adding sugar!
Cinnamon (Ceylon cinnamon) burk 3 (cracked)
Fennel seed 3
Clove whole 3
Dried ginger bits 3
Star anise seed 2
Cardamon seed 2
Black pepper whole 1
Fresh ground nutmeg 1
Written numbers are the racio, on how to blend.
Put them all together in mill and blend into roughly, coarsely ground.
Store in air-tight jar or tea can.
How to brew chai with rice milk:
In pot, simmer 1/4 cup water with 1 table spoon chai spice.
When comes to boil, add 200ml rice milk.
Carefully let it boil and remove pan just before it’s boiling over.
Strain and pour.
