This oatmeal is hearty, warming, and has just the right amount of sweetness thanks to a super delicious cream cheese frosting swirled into the oats. You can make this recipe vegan with just a few simple swaps!
Ingredients
For the Oatmeal:
1 cup rolled oats (gluten free, if desired)
1 cup water
¼ cup almond milk (I used unsweetened)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Icing:
2 tablespoons reduced-fat cream cheese (or vegan)
¼ cup plain Greek yogurt (or vegan Greek yogurt)
½ cup powdered sugar
