This gentle smoothie is the perfect breakfast for non-morning people who find it difficult to eat first thing in the morning. It has everything you need from a breakfast while being easy on the tummy.
1 banana (I like to use a frozen banana)
2 Tblsps – ¼ cup of oats
2 dessertspoonfuls of peanut butter (natural unsweetened peanut butter is best)
1 large handful of spinach
280ml / 1.2 cups of unsweetened almond milk
A drizzle of maple syrup, to taste (optional)
