Ingredients
¼ cup vegetable shortening
½ cup sugar
1 egg
½ cup molasses
½ cup water
2 cups flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon ground cloves
½ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon nutmeg
½ teaspoon cinnamon
Icing:
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons butter, softened
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
