Give yourself permission to indulge in a piece of these gluten-free brownies. Unlike most brownies, these are sweetened with coconut sugar, so they don’t taste overly sweet.
Ingredients
3/4 cup (90g) nut flour
1/2 cup (50g) unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup (30g) tapioca starch
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup + 1 TBS (70g) coconut oil, melted
3 TBS unsweetened applesauce
1 cup (145g) coconut sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Toppings:
3 to 4 TBS crushed pretzels
3 TBS cashew halves
3 TBS walnut pieces
3 to 4 TBS chocolate chips
pinch of salt
