Hawaij Coffee Ice Cream Tarts
These Hawaij Coffee Ice Cream Tarts are vegan, gluten-free, and richly aromatic with dark chocolate, coconut cream, and a Lebanese spice blend.
For the crusts:
1 cup blanched almond flour (or finely ground raw almonds)
1/3 cup coconut flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp hawaij spice blend
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup maple syrup
For the ice cream:
1 can coconut milk, chilled
1 tsp vanilla
1 shot espresso
pinch salt
1/4 cup chopped dark chocolate
1 tbsp maple syrup
To garnish:
1/3 cup chopped chocolate
1 tsp coconut oil
maple flakes, chopped nuts, or shredded coconut (optional, for sprinkling)
Hawaij Spice Mix (all spices dried/powdered)
3 tbsp ginger
2 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 tbsp cardamom
1/2 tbsp cloves
