Wish winter would go or that summer was still here? Ease your pain with the comforting flavors of maple, apple and pecans. And if you’re a huge salty-sweet fan, add a pinch of salt for (you guessed it) Salted Maple, Apple and Pecan Oatmeal!
Ingredients
1 cup almond milk, plus extra if needed
1 cup water
½ cup steel-cut oats
1 red apple
Tiny pinch of salt
1 teaspoon maple syrup
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Toppings: Maple syrup, 2-4 tablespoons pecans and an optional pinch of coarse salt
