A really yummy, different kind of recipe. Good for kids, adults and everyone in between. I serve with big potato wedges and a green salad.
4oz chopped, mixed nuts
6oz ground filberts
1 onion, chopped and sauteed
1 very large egg or 2 medium eggs
2 tbsp tomato paste
3 tbsp boiled rice- any kind
1-2 oz cheese
salt+ pepper to taste
1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease cookie sheet.
2. Mix together all ingredients.
3. Shape into balls and pat down a little.
4. Bake for approx 20 mins until browned on top.
