1/3 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup red lentils
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 small yellow onion, minced
1 3/4 cup vegetable broth (less for thicker oats)
2 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon homemade or prepared pesto
fresh ground black pepper and fine sea salt
slivered almonds
parmesan cheese (optional topping)
crushed red pepper (optional topping)
