This cake is like a giant version of the Hostess classic! It’s a chocolate cake with marshmallow buttercream filling and frosting, all covered in pink coconut. Plus the frosting is made with vegetarian friendly marshmallow creme!
Ingredients
6 tbs unsweetened cocoa powder
6 tbs hot water
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 sticks (12 tbs) butter
1 cup plus 1 Tb sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sour cream (I subbed plain Greek yogurt)
1 cup butter, room temperature
1 jar marshmallow creme (7 or 7.5 oz)
2 cups powdered sugar
