Sweet potato gluten free biscuits
Incredibly cheesy vegan & gluten free Sweet potato BISCUITS! flaky delicious and so easy to make, ready in under 30 minutes.
For dry ingredients:
2 cups Bob’s red mill gluten free biscuit mix
3/4 tsp Bob’s red mill xanthum gum
1 Tbsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
3 tbsp Nutritional dry yeast (gives a wonderful cheesy flavor)
For wet ingredients:
6 tbsp vegan butter cut into 1/2 inch cubes, place in freezer for 10 minutes as you prep everything else
8.5 tbsp unsweetened nut milk. i used almond milk
1 cup mashed sweet potato
1 vegan egg = 1 tbsp flax meal mixed with 2 tbsp boiling water, mixed well, let sit 5 minutes minimum before using
