A wonderful way to spice up your regular morning oats. These baked oats are crispy on top with a soft and creamy center.
Ingredients
1 flax egg (1 tablespoon ground flax mixed with 3 tablespoons warm water)
2 cups of cherries or fruit of your choice thawed if frozen
1 cup rolled oats
1 tablespoon chia seeds
4 tablespoons whole wheat flour or GF flour of your choice
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup almond milk
3 tablespoons maple syrup
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons melted coconut oil or oil of your choice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped almonds
