Sparkling Christmas Tree Cocktail

This Sparkling Cranberry Gin Fizz with Sugared Rosemary and Cranberry Branches is a festive way to celebrate the holiday season.

For the Sparkling Branches:
About 1 cup sugar, divided
1/2 cup water
Fresh rosemary sprigs
Fresh cranberries

For the Cocktail:
1/2 cup gin (I used Bombay Sapphire)
1/2 cup cranberry juice
1 tablespoon fresh squeezed lime juice
1 tablespoon simple syrup
1/4 cup club soda
