4 ounces tempeh
2 tablespoons soy sauce or liquid aminos
2 teaspoons hot sauce
1½ teaspoons garlic powder, divided
1 teaspoon maple syrup or coconut sugar
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
¾ teaspoon onion powder, divided
¾ teaspoon smoked paprika, divided
½ teaspoon cumin
¾ cup unsweetened non-dairy milk
⅓ cup nutritional yeast
1 tablespoon tapioca starch
½ lemon, juiced
1 teaspoon organic miso (optional)
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
