Apple Cinnamon Breakfast Squares- subtly sweet & delicious, but without all the guilt. A great breakfast, or add some ice cream for dessert!
Ingredients
1 chia egg (1 tablespoon chia seeds + 4 tablespoons water)
¾ cup brown sugar
¼ cup coconut oil, melted
⅓ cup vegan butter, softened
¼ cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup all purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
1½ cups rolled oats (not instant)
⅛ teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
1 large (or 2 small) granny smith apple(s), seeded, peeled, cored, and diced into small pieces
