asian tostadas
Asian tostadas with beer battered avocado, drunken mushrooms and peanut sauce. Delicious, fun recipe to tackle with friends!
Wonton wrappers
1-2 green onions, sliced
2 avocados, sliced (it’s a good idea to refrigerate for a while before slicing them, so that they hold their shape a little better)
1 cup of flour
1 cup of beer (we used Sapporo)
1 tsp of salt
Pinch of chili powder
½ pound (225 g) of oyster mushrooms, chopped roughly
1 onion or shallot, sliced
About 10 oz of beer (we used Sapporo)
Dash of mirin
1½ Tblsps of toasted sesame oil
2 Tblsp rice vinegar
½ Tblsp tamari
½ tsp chili garlic sauce
A few handfuls of shredded napa cabbage / chinese leaf + mixed shredded vegetables (carrots, jicama, etc)
A few sliced jalepenos (optional)
2 Tblsps of natural unsweetened peanut butter
½ Tblsp of toasted sesame oil
2 Tblsps of rice vinegar
Tsp each of garlic, ginger and chili
1 Tblsp tamari
1 tsp miso (optional)
