Bourbon and Brown Sugar Ice Cream

Proof that bourbon is for more than just drinking: bourbon and brown sugar ice cream with dark chocolate.
Ingredients
1 cup whole milk
3/4 cups heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
6 egg yolks
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tablespoons bourbon (I used Maker’s Mark)
3 ounces dark chocolate, finely chopped (I used Theo Chocolate 85%)
