Ingredients
4 small/medium apples, peeled, cored, and cut into ½” slices (I used 2 granny smith and 2 pink lady)
2 tablespoons sugar
¼ teaspoon freshly ground cardamom
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
3 tablespoons unsalted butter or coconut oil
½ cup apple cider
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
