You don’t taste the beets, but they add plenty of moisture and vitamins to your cake! Add the Bourbon Vanilla glaze and you have a truly delicious dessert.
Ingredients
3-4 medium sized beets
2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
4 oz semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
2 eggs
3/4 cup warm water
1/4 cup canola oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup powdered sugar
4 tsp milk
2 tsp bourbon
2 tsp vanilla extract
