Ingredients
100g pitted medjool dates
1 cup (160g) teff flour
½ cup + 2 tablespoons (75g) tapioca flour/starch
½ teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon baking soda
9 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
½ cup (115g) packed light brown sugar
¼ cup + 2 tablespoon (90g) cane sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup dry roasted almonds, chopped
2 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped into chunks
Flakey salt, for sprinkling
