A recipe for individual chocolate pavlovas served with bourbon strawberries and whipped cream. Perfect for Valentine’s Day or any other special occasion.
Ingredients
For the Meringue:
6 egg whites, at room temperature
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 tsp. vanilla extract
For the Strawberries:
1 lb strawberries
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon bourbon
For the Whipped Cream:
1 1/2 cups cold heavy whipping cream
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
2 tsp. bourbon
