Easy Tomato Sauce

An Italian recipe for making an easy tomato sauce, delicious and quick.

3 tablespoons olive oil
½ teaspoon salt
1-2 large cloves of garlic chopped
1½ teaspoons oregano
5 basil leaves chopped
2 dashes of hot pepper flakes
1 can diced tomatoes with puree (nothing else added) (1½ to 2 cups)
½ cup water
