8 oz navy beans, raw
13 ½ cups water
1 tbs canola oil
6 oz spring onion, chopped
16 oz russet potatoes, cubed
1 pinch of black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tbs finely chopped parsley leaves
(optional) 1 tsp imitation bacon bits (or real bacon bits for non-vegan choice)
