Serves: 9 to 10 dosa

Oats uttappa is a nutritious and healthy dosa recipe, which can be prepared in a short time. It is a healthy recipe especially for diabetics. It is one of a easiest and healthiest breakfast recipes, prepared with oats and fine rava (semolina), for topping. I have added grated carrot, finely chopped onion, coriander, grated coconut, and a mixture of poppy seeds and cumin sprinkled to make it more yummy and tasty. Do try and enjoy as a break fast dish or as an evening snack.

Ingredients

To prepare batter:
Oats – 2 cups
Chiroti rava (fine quality semolina) – 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Cooking soda – 1 pinch (optional)

For topping:
Carrot – 2, grated
Onion – 2, finely chopped
Coriander – 1 bunch (1 – cup) chopped
Coconut – 1/2 cup, grated
Poppy seeds – 1 tsp
Cumin – 1 tsp
Salt – 1 pinch
