Raw Fig Newtons

Raw Fig Newtons for a healthified, delicious take on the traditional cookie! Super easy to make and the perfect snack to take with you on the go.

Ingredients

Dough:
2 cups almond meal (if using almond flour, add ¼ cup)
¼ cup almond butter
¼ cup almond milk, or other nondairy milk
¼ cup maple syrup
2 Tbsp. chia seeds
1¼ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. vanilla extract
¼ tsp. salt

Fig Filling:
1½ cups dried figs
1½ tsp. vanilla extract
1½ tsp. lemon juice
